My Mid-Year Review ft. Lavendaire
With the beginning of July here and the long weekend celebrations over, I wanted to take some time to do a mid-year review. This mid-year review in particular I got from the lovely Lavendaire, as an owner of her Artist of Life Workbook and subscriber to her email list. If you are a millennial and have any interest in self-improvement I highly suggest at least watching her videos. These questions are taken from her mid-year review and my responses are all my own.
What have I accomplished so far this year that I am proud of?
I have started a blog, an online store, a brand, new professional relationships, and effectively my own business! I have taken care of my mental health issues, which I never thought I could do. I am going back to school in the Fall, which I also never thought I could do. Looking back over the past 6 months I have grown so rapidly and I am very proud of where I am right now.
Does this year feel aligned to my yearly theme so far? What can I do to live my theme more fully?
My theme of 2017 was growth; I have done nothing but grow so far this year. I have been focusing on growing myself and my brand, but now I think it's time to refocus some of that energy to growing my relationships with family and friends.
What were my goals for this year? Let's be real - what can I eliminate or change to feel better about my goals?
I have reached the goals I set out to meet already, but there is always room for improvement. I need to get out of my comfort zone more often and go to more social events. I need to make more time for seeing family. These things will help me grow even further.
What are my top 3 priorities for the next 3 months?
My relationships with family and friends, making more money with a part time job to support my business, and getting into dialectal behaviour therapy to keep my mind healthy while getting back into 'normal' work and school.
Feel free to answer these questions for yourself and see where you are so far this year. What are you proud of so far this year? Let me know down below ~
