My Favourite Podcasts of the Summer
Today I wanted to share my favourite podcasts that I can't stop listening to this summer. I have been choosing podcasts over music for the better part of two years now. I have found myself going for long walks and sitting on the beach while listening to podcasts rather than music. Here is a bit about my favourite podcasts of the summer that you may want to include in your next road trip or cottage getaway.
Cortex - Productivity and Business podcast that isn't really about productivity most of the time. For the most part the hosts Myke and Grey chat about dilemmas in their professional lives and some of the challenges they struggle with while running their own business and living their lives at the same time.
Hello Internet - A podcast which can really only be defined as two dudes talking. Both hosts, Brady and Grey (yes, the same Grey) are from a teaching background, so the topics are usually interesting and engaging. They have discussed things such as Guns, Germs, and Steel, Tesla Cars, Starbuck hot stoppers, and Disney Fast Pass. If you're into their Type A personalities chatting about nothing and everything this podcast is for you.
The G Club - A Video Game podcast where any or all of the Game Grumps talk about anything relating to video games and nerd culture. This podcast is a lot less formal than the previous two and still has a 'guys talking about stuff' feeling to it.
Jenna & Julien Podcast - A Comedy and Entertainment podcast hosted by Youtube personalities Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita. They have different audience requested topics every week that'll give you a good laugh or relatable story.
The Lavendaire Lifestyle - A Lifestyle podcast in which YouTube personality Aileen Xu interviews successful people she knows to pick their brains about how they created their life. Eileen describes herself as an artist of life asks her guests questions relevant to the theme.
99% Invisible - A Stoytelling podcast hosted my Roman Mars that focuses on the stories of thing you walk by every day without noticing them. It looks at the 99% of the things we take for granted or are invisible to us and retells their stories and a short and digestible manor.
Do you listen to any of these already? Keep the conversation going by telling me about your favourite podcasts I should check out!
